The area of this island is 168 square kilometers. The largest island in the area is Koh Samui and it is located a little South of Koh Phangan. There are several ferry lines between these islands. The main town on Koh Phangan is Thongsala, located on the West coast. You will find several great beaches on Phangan; Had Rin Nok, Had Rin Nai, Had Yao, Had Kuat and Chaloklum are a few of the most popular ones. There are some really nice resorts and cozy bungalows on most of Koh Phangan beaches and You can book them from this website.
